Elim Park Presents Donation To Cheshire Fire Fighters
By CFD Web Administrator
December 31, 2012
Shortly before Christmas, Fire Chief Jack Casner joined Cheshire Police Chief Neil Dryfe at Elim Park to receive a very generous donation for both Departments.
Elim Park is a retirement community that has over 500 residents and 350 staff members living and working in several buildings on their campus located at 140 Cook Hill Road.
Although their religious affiliation allows them to remain tax exempt, representatives from Elim Park presented the Fire and Police Departments with individual checks for $165,000 to help support their operational needs. Elim Park has done this for many years and has become an important partner in providing financial assistance to the Cheshire Fire and Police Departments..
The Officers and Members of the Cheshire Fire Department wish to thank the Management and Staff of Elim Park for their very generous donation and continued support.
Cheshire Police Chief Neil Dryfe (L) and Cheshire Fire Chief Jack Casner (R) arrive at Elim Park to receive donation checks in the amount of $165,000 for each Department.
