The event was a huge success as many people visited the firehouse and learned about the station, the equipment and fire safety. Families interacted with the Firefighters using the fire hose or a fire extinguisher to extinguish a fire. Many also learned Stop, Drop and Roll from the Ladies Auxiliary. There was also a extrication demo showing the use of the tools we use to free occupants trapped in motor vehicles after an accident. The C.F.D. would like to thank the Public and also the Cheshire Police, C.F.D. Ladies Auxiliary, Trinity Ambulance, and Chesprocott for their involvement in the annual open House.
